The factory is currently making our higher end boutique designs and kidswear.
The factory is located in the north of Portugal, known for its textile industrial heritage since the 19th century. They support local mills and manufacturers and all sourcing is from within 35km radius of their factory site. The factory have a great waste disposal and recycling system which makes their operation close to zero-waste.
The company is a family business. We have a great relationship with Marta, the daughter of the factory owner. From our first design project with the factory, we have always been very impressed with their achievements and the work ethic, and it was a perfect partnership for our Do Good and our beliefs.
The factory is certified by the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class 1 since 2014, providing clients garments that are free of non-toxic substances- this is true of all products from loom stock to final ready-made garments. The factory are also ISO 9001:2015 standard complied, and a member of the The Green Textile Club. In addition, the factory is participating in many other ecological labels certification processes that encourage them to get an even lower emission operation. This also includes additional organic and recycled materials in their practices, like Organic Content Standard, Recycled Claim Standard, and Lean & Green.
